James Warner left no stone unturned in his description of my condition and the risks and potentially different outcomes of surgery. When I made the decision to go ahead I was genuinely giving "informed consent" I don' t think it would have been possible to get a better service.

I felt no pressure to make rash decisions; all options were explained in the greatest detail. Appreciated the fact staff did not deliver 'dumbed down' explanations, but instead, took the time to go through each scan with me. Faultless manners and attention to detail.

I've been seeing Mr. Warner for some years now, mainly for hand problems including stenosing tenosynovitis (trigger finger) and latterly for Dupuytren's contracture. His treatment for trigger finger has included corticosteroid injections, which in one case proved very successful and in others only provided temporary relief. The effects of two injections having worn off he relieved one finger with a minor surgical procedure, which was fuss-free under local anaesthetic. I am about to undergo a second operation as the corticosteroid injections, whilst relieving the symptoms for some months, no longer provides relief. I have always found him to be friendly and approachable and he goes to great lengths to explain the condition and the procedure needed to relieve it. I must also make mention of Ms Jayne Caldwell, his practice manager. I may not have dealt with her for a year or so but if I telephone she immediately recognises my voice and remembers my name. She is as efficient and as friendly as her employer and must be valued highly by him. Five stars for both of them in every department!
